Near to Novo selo, in a mound it was discovered a sarcophagus covered with marble slab. When archaeologists opened the sarcophagus, they saw the burned bones of an aristocrat of tribe Bessie lay in it.

According to Ass. Prof. Kostadin Kisyov, PhD, this type of thracian burial is discovered for the first time.
The Director of the Museum expects to find the grave goods soon
