PLOVDIV REGION IN PREHISTORY
Different kinds of working tools, instruments, technologies for stone polishing, clay tilling, bone, wood and metal working connected to prehistoric cultures of Plovdiv district from the 6th to 3rd millennium BC. A collection of pottery and idol plastic arts from Neolithic and Chalcolithic Periods.
HALL II A
EARLY THRACIAN CULTURE IN PLOVDIV REGION
Collections of pottery, jewellery and weapons connected to the culture of Thracian tribes from the 16th to 6th c. BC.
HALL III
HISTORY OF THE MUSEUM
Documents, photographs and exhibits connected to the history of the museum, authentic wall-paintings of the Museum edifice built in 1885, as well as part of the numismatic collection of Greek, Thracian, Macedonian, Roman, Byzantine and Bulgarian coins from the 5th c. BC to 19th c.

PLOVDIV REGION IN CLASSIC AND HELLENISTIC PERIODS
THRACIAN NECROPOLIS NEAR DUVANLI AND CHERNOSEM, MUNICIPALITY OF KALOYANOVO
Finds from Thracian mound tombs from the 5th to 1st c. BC, collection of golden and silver utensils and jewellery, weapons, Attic pottery.
Golden Treasure of Panagyurishte luxurious dinner set of nine golden utensils in different shapes, total weight 6 kg and 164 g.

THE COINS OF PHILIPPOPOLIS
Pre-coin forms and a collection of coins connected to minting and trade connections of Philippopolis from the 6th c. BC to 14th c.
HALL VI
THE ANCIENT PHILIPPOPOLIS
Architecture, sculptures, mosaics, stone and bronze plastic arts of Ancient Philippopolis from the 3rd c. BC to 4th c. found during rescue excavations in modern city.
HALL VII
PLOVDIV DURING THE MIDDLE AGES
Finds connected to everyday life, crafts, armaments, religion, architecture and trade connections of Plovdiv and Plovdiv region during the Middle Ages.
