"NIGHT OF MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES" - 12.09.2014

This year about 6 000 people visited Regional Archaeological Museum - Plovdiv in the 10-th "Night of museums and galleries". We are glad that the visitors were people of all ages.

The evening was very successful with a presentation of the proceedings dedicated to the 130-th anniversary of the Regional Archaeological Museum - Plovdiv (1882-2012) and to the tradition of the Museum, 110 years old, connected with the issue (1904-2014).

The Archaeological Museum Plovdiv for the first time participated in the Night of museums and galleries with a lecture and discussion with foreign scientists, an exhibition of rare and valuable books and film screenings about archaeological excavations.
