Training – to make easier the access to cultural heritage for visitors with specific needs

In the period from 20.04.2016 to 22.04.2016,the Regional Archaeological Museum - Plovdiv is host for three-day training of museum employees from southern Bulgaria.

The training is organized by the Ministry of Culture and the program "Creative Europe" of the European Union. The subject is "To make easier the access to cultural heritage - intellectual and physical accessibility for visitors with specific needs.

Among the official guests were Amelia Gesheva - Deputy Mayor for Culture and Tourism in Plovdiv, who opened the meeting, Dr. Aksinia Buteva - Ministry of Culture, the"Cultural Heritage", Vesselina Kondakova - Coordinator of the Bureau"Creative Europe" and the lecturers Anna Ioannina and Dr. Ivan Yanev who presented of the participants the topics concerning the people with disabilities and visitors with specific needs.
