An exhibition from Greece - "Leaving a Mark on History. Treasures from Greek Museum"

In the period 30.05 - 30.10. 2013, a visiting exhibition from Greece - "Leaving a Mark on History. Treasures from Greek Museum" was opened.





The exhibition includes 195 objects from the collections of the National Archaeological Museum and Numismatic Museum in Athens and another ten Greek museums. It presents ancient Greek history and culture in the period from VI millennium BC to IV century AD and the relations with Thracian rulers.

It is divided into six thematic sections:
1.0. History of Sealing                                               
2.0. "Great is the state that controls the sea"           
3.0. Democracy and Education                                     
4.0. Olympic Ideal
5.1. The Persian Wars
5.2. Rulers that left their mark in History
6.0. From Olympus to Heaven   
  






Exhibition like this is opened for the first time in Bulgaria.
